This week’s theme was “Pieces of Me”. I thought long and hard….and then waited until the last minute to take a picture for the week. I was heading to bed and saw my husband in his usual spot, on our bed, watching an uplifting video. At the end of a long day, he likes to unwind by getting his spirituality on. \ud83d\ude09 I wish this photo could better capture this amazing man’s heart. I decided he was the perfect subject for the theme “Pieces of Me” because he is the biggest piece of my heart. He gave me 4 other giant pieces of my heart: our 4 kids. And he knows and loves all the pieces that make me me. Well….maybe not all of them…maybe he doesn’t love that I love Downton Abbey. And maybe he doesn’t love that I hate to iron. But he loves MOST of me! \ud83d\ude09 And he understands me oh so well. When we’re driving around town and he catches me just staring out the window, he says, “Yes, you’re right, the light is amazing in that spot.” Totally teasing me, but still…he gets me and my obsession with all things photography related. So when I asked if he could just stay still for a minute so I could take his picture, he got it.<\/p>\n

I love this man.<\/p>\n
