Theme: “Light”\"126BWweb\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I was pretty excited to go out and find a cool way to incorporate the “light” theme into my picture for the week. We went to the beach…didn’t find my inspiration there. Went to the park at a gorgeous time of day….nope. My daughter picked flowers in a field with the sun setting behind her…still not a shot I loved in the bunch. Then we went on a family walk and came across this tunnel. I immediately knew how I wanted to set up this shot. I wanted them to be heading into the light together, off to have an adventure. It just so happened that my 5 year old brought along a kiddie camera and that just adds to the shot for me. He’s going to capture their grand adventures! I wanted them to be looking into the tunnel, but when they looked at each other, I took the shot and ended up loving it more than what I had planned.<\/p>\n

This may be cheesy, (I’m pretty sure we’ve established that I’m cheesy) but I look at it and think about how glad I am that these boys are so close in age (18 months apart). I’m so glad that they’ll be facing life together. I hope that, as it looks to me in the picture, they’ll often look at each other as the best buds they are and say, “Ready? Let’s do this.”<\/p>\n
