B Family {Viera Maternity Photographer}
It’s been really tough to schedule sessions for the last few months. The rain in Florida just won’t stop! On the day of this session this gorgeous mom and I kept our fingers crossed. We had to move very quickly because the storm clouds were rolling in. By the end of our rushed session, we got drenched in rain! Such troopers! So glad the sun stayed out long enough to get these shots of this beautiful family. And in case you’re wondering, this little man will be almost exactly (or exactly, time will tell) one year older than his little brother. Future best friends!

It’s always a little nerve wracking when a fellow photographer asks you to shoot her family/maternity photos. It’s even more nerve wracking when you are both wanting sunny backlit images and then Florida decides to stop having sunny evenings for the entire month of July. We were sad when the clouds rolled in yet again on the evening of our shoot (which had already been rained out multiple times). The rain JUST barely held off for us on this night. BUT! I’m still in love with this cloudy day session! I love the character and depth the clouds gave to these photos. But what I love even more is the obvious joy and love in this beautiful family, as they await the arrival of their second son. <3 Thanks for allowing me to capture these moments for you, M!

It was so hard to narrow down this gallery! I love every shot because just look at this couple….it’s impossible for them to take a bad photo. I can’t wait to take photos of their brand new baby girl! Braving the Cold {Brevard County Maternity Photographer}
I am not a huge fan of cold weather. Actually, I’m not a fan of hot weather either. Weather in the 70s is my happy place. This “winter” (if you can call it that), we’ve had a lot of beautiful, breezy days. The day that I shot this maternity session was not one of those days. Yes, it looked beautiful out, but weather in the 50s with the wind chill by the river making it feel like the 40s…not great. Especially when you are wearing a spaghetti strap, like this beautiful mama to be. She and her hubby braved the cold for me so we could capture these shots for them. Meanwhile, I wore a pea coat. I felt a little like a jerk, haha. But these two were so fun to work with. You can feel the love between these two. Their little boy is a lucky kid to be coming to parents who seem like genuinely good friends who have a blast together. Can’t wait to meet him at our newborn shoot!
An Officer and a Baby Bump {Brevard Maternity Photographer}
I was at my son’s soccer game when I spotted this tree. I thought, hey…that doesn’t look like Central Florida! Must use in future shoot! This fall maternity session was the perfect opportunity. I love this couple and am so excited for them to meet their baby girl. Isn’t Mom such a knockout?? Their daughter is bound to be the same. But Dad’s a police officer, so he’ll be prepared. 🙂
