Lovebirds at Sunrise {Cocoa Beach Engagement Photographer}

I am not a morning person. Never have been. But after doing this engagement session at sunrise, I may have to get up before the sun more often. The light was awesome. The couple was beautiful. Just perfect. Can’t wait till their wedding day!

“W” Wedding – Part 1 {Viera Couples Photographer}

This bride and I have known each other since 4th grade. Holy memories!! Drinking kool aid at her house as 11 year olds, having crushes on the same guys as teenagers, moving to Salt Lake to go to college together (and then backing out after 3 days…*cough cough*…myfault), her being my maid of honor, me shooting her wedding…how’d we get so old?

This is part 1 of her wedding pictures, because I just have so many I want to share. Part 2 is coming soon and will have all my favorites!

Mr. W, you better take good care of her! 🙂WilkesWeddingCollage3

S & S {Cocoa Beach Couples Photographer}

I only do a VERY limited number of weddings per year. In order for me to photograph your wedding you must A) be related to me, B) be friends with me since elementary school, or C) ask very nicely and catch me on a good month that isn’t already busy with other types of photoshoots. 🙂 I love the feeling in the air on someone’s wedding day and I love to capture families full of joy on such a special occasion. I just can’t do it ALL the time at this point in my life. Maybe one day!

These two fall into category A. This is my brother and his wife, married in May. Finally blogging it!

This wedding started out on the beach, at 3pm. In Florida. Thankfully, we were blessed with a nice breeze! It was a gorgeous day.Cocoa Beach Wedding, Couple getting married on Cocoa Beach

I shot many of these in full sun, which is not how I normally shoot, but I am thrilled with the variety we got. Many of the shots were planned by the bride. So glad I was able to help her bring her vision to life! Hope you cherish these forever, Sarah!FlorenzCollage02

Good looking couple, right here!FlorenzCollage03

My daughter loved the reception. She’s the one dancing with her new aunt and putting a tiara on her uncle’s head.FlorenzCollage04

Special thanks to 4 teenage boys who made this last shot possible. I tired them out pretty bad!

Beachside Love {Brevard Couples Photographer}

Can I tell you a story? It’s going to make you think of me as a scary stalker. I feel pretty comfortable with that.

When I was 14, I started going to dances once a month at my church. It was there that I spotted my future husband. From the first time I saw him, I thought he was the most beautiful man I had ever seen. Okay boy. He was 16 at the time. Each month, I looked forward to going to those dances to catch a glimpse of him, even though he didn’t know I existed. Am I scaring you yet? It gets worse. I soon started writing about him in my journal saying, “I am going to marry him.” Practiced writing my name with his last name and everything. Yes, Internet, I am putting this out there. No shame in my game.

At one such dance…pretty sure I was 16 by this time…I asked one of my most favorite youth leaders ever (still love her to this day) to take my little disposable camera and figure out a way to get a picture of him for me. LIKE A STALKER. She humored me and did it. And I still have that photo. We didn’t start dating until 3 years later, and I waited awhile after that to show him that photo. Taped in my journal. He married me anyway. Probably out of fear. But like I said, I’m comfortable with that. 😉

This wonderful youth leader just happens to be the mom of this gorgeous lady in these pictures. And this gorgeous lady and her handsome hubby have a somewhat similar love story. Maybe not quite as stalkerish, but similar in the “I loved you way back when” sense. They are such a fabulous couple and I had so much fun photographing them. Enjoy!Vorwallers15WEBVorwallers04WEBVorwallers16WEBVorwallers23WEB

I’m Going to Miami {Brevard Couples/Engagement Photographer}

Is the Will Smith song in your head now? I got to take pictures for these two right before they headed off to Miami for school. I did a year of school there and had some good times working on student films. One was about zombies. It was awesome. I also took a belly dancing class (holy ab workout), watched a TON of Friends episodes, hung out at South Beach, and…um…made the 3 hour trek home for the weekend all the time. Yeah, I didn’t party hard. I missed my mommy.

Anyway, I’m sure these two will have way more fun than I did! Wishing them luck on all that’s ahead for them! I need a sit down, hands on tutorial from this girl to learn how to do my hair. Her hair always looks amazing! If she wants to take me shopping, I’m fine with that, too. 😉 Lady, you are gorgeous!! And does her man not look a little like Shia LaBeouf? Is it just me?
